Brand new to radio restoration but was sure these were a needed fundamental tool…Do NOT buy this kit. Spend a few extra dollars and get real tools. My first time using these out of box, the tip broke off on the trimmer cap and I’m basically screwed. I was very gentle and careful and used the proper size but it didn’t matter. These are beyond not worth your money, you could end up ruining your electronics. Very disappointed.These alignment tools were perfect for tuning my oscilloscope - could not use a metal tip, so had to be ceramic or plastic. Care needs to be done as plastic is soft, go gently or will deform tip. If adjustment is glued or stiff, adjust with metal alignment tool first. Better than ceramics as I had to cut tool shorter to fit in tight space, snipped in two with wire cutters.Purchased these for antique radio alignments. However, none really fit the pots properly so I ended up using a reg screw driver. I think they would work on other things like CB radios and such but for my hallicrafter receiver they did not work.Well madeA little smaller than what I expected, but they are ok for small shallow tuning slugs and potentiometers.These seem to be just great. Hard plastic, non-magnetic and a good selection for doing alignments and fine adjustments in tuners.On close inspection I find very few if any flaws in the molding of these drivers.Thanks//(~_~)\\AUWish they were all metal.
