Proxxon 27023 5-Piece Wood Lathe Turning Tool Set with Storage Box - Perfect for Woodworking, DIY Projects & Professional Turning

I ordered the product about two weeks ago and received them today. And what I have got is so disappointing. If I knew I would get these, I would have never ordered them in the first place. The handles of three out of five are not straight. Especially one of them is so crooked. Since I am not in the States, it is not easy for me to return or exchange it to new one. This is so annoying and not what I have expected. You should have checked before you send. Fortunately, blades look fine, I will have to fix handles somehow.These are essential for use on very small work; the usual lathe tools are just too big for this. They are reasonable quality and well finished. The high speed steel blades perform well as expected. A good buy for the price.The description of the product uses "German precision" and "German engineering" but when I received them...what do you know, they're made in China. I haven't used them yet. They look like they are of decent quality but I felt slightly deceived by the description. They may look ok when new but Chinese products have a poor reputation for quality for a reason. Time will tell.??This is a nice set of turning tools. I rated it 3 stars because it doe snot have any gouges it it.Suit for a small project. Nice.best than others item .Although a bit pricy, these are nicely made and comfortable to use on the Proxxon mini-lathe.I was disappointed by the size/length of these chisels. They would be ok for smaller turning items but not for anything over a few centimetres in diameter.Very good quality and nice steel. I use them for finer detailing when woodturning and they work really well. They feel solid and stay sharp so very pleased with these.They arrived in a neat box and were well shaped but there was no edge at all on any of the tools. We've got the equipment to sharpen them but would expect them to arrive ready to go.Useful for small items.Ideal for turning masts on model boats
