This was an impulse buy when looking for other Xmas presents. I love the product!This works well as a garlic press - as you simply roll it over the garlic (easier if you roughly chop the cloves first) a number of times and then scrap the goo off the inside with a sharp knife. There is a bit more waste than with a garlic press as the surface area through which the garlic is being squeezed is bigger - but the ease of use makes it worthwhile. Cleaning it is easier than a traditional garlic press as you can push the spikes of a washing up brush through the holes to push out extraneous garlic (ideally from the middle to outside). I am using it all the time. Quality is amazingly good given the price - it has a good weight to it, does not feel like it will break any time soon - good quality of stainless steel and the handle is sturdy (it needs to be).
